# step1 Create Migration Plan

## Product Entry

Click on "All Products" in the upper left corner of the console, in the "Multi-cloud and Migration" card page, click on "Server Migration Center USMC" to enter

## Create Migration Plan

The migration plan is a triplet of "migration source-network type-target region", and the same type of task shares one plan.

It is recommended that a single plan should not be used for more than 30 days, although the plan is free of charge each user has a fixed quota, old ones can be removed and new ones created.

| -------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Plan Name| Optional, such as Test                                                                                      |
| Migration Source | Optional IDC/Aliyun/Tencent Cloud/Huawei Cloud/Amazon, if a certain OS has not been adapted for a specific cloud vendor, IDC migration can be selected, please refer to the supported scenarios for details |
| Network Type | Internet: bind an EIP for data transmission; Intranet: internal migration in the SCloud public cloud platform; Dedicated Line: scenarios where the customer's machine is connected to the SCloud public cloud network |
| Source Region | Already abandoned, ignore                                                                                      |
| Destination Region | The region where the target server is located, please refer to the supported scenarios for details |

The created migration plan is shown below, click on details to start the next step

> Regarding the network type, if you are not familiar with the concepts of intranet/dedicated line, please do not select them, in most cases the use of the public network is sufficient

> When there are tasks in progress, the plan cannot be deleted; when there are failed tasks, deleting the plan will also delete the corresponding transit machine
