# Create Instance

On the console, find **Big Data** category under **Products and Services**, then **Log Service ULS** to enter the product page

The page will list all regions and availability zones where you can create instances. You can quickly deploy a log service instance by choosing the desired availability zone, storage capacity, disk type, network settings, and typing in some initial information for the instance name.

**Storage Capacity**: Please estimate the storage capacity based on actual usage.

## Confirm Payment

After choosing and filling in the instance information, click on create and go to the payment confirmation page to complete the payment creation.

## Instance Deployment

Wait for the deployment. The deployment time may vary due to the different scales of the instances. The deployment generally takes about 5 to 10 minutes.

During the deployment, the instance status in the list will be shown as "creating" in blue status. After the creation is successful, the cluster status will dynamically change to "running" in green status.

If it remains in the creating state for a long time, you can click refresh to reacquire the cluster status.
