# Create Label
You can create labels in the label console. This document introduces how to create preset labels in the label console.

## Operation Steps
1. Log in to the label console
2. In the top navigation bar, select **Label Management**
3. On the **Label Management** page, click **Create Resource Label**
4. On the **Create Resource Label** page, enter the label key and label value, then click **Confirm**


* Label Key: Required. Label keys support up to 127 characters
* Label Value: Optional. Label values support up to 255 characters
